Works fast and works well.
I first came in contact with this product about 20 years ago as a barista. I used it every night to backflush our espresso machine and we put a teaspoon or so in the various aero-pots to keep scale from forming in them. As my 'machine' these days is an espresso press, I can clean every part of it by hand and I never really keep coffee in batches... For this reason I haven't seen used it in quite awhile.I do have some steel coffee cups which eventually developed scale and, having failed at removing it with almost every other product, I bought some Purocaff (I've always called it "Purecaff", but that may be a southern thing) to see if i could get the scale off. 30 minutes later and gross coffee water comes out of my 'clean' cups. Really impressive stuff. I knew it was good for maintenance but i had no idea it would remove 10 years of residue so quickly. I mean i tried, boiling them, baking soda scrubs, flushes, vinegar et al... This stuff worked immediately with a bit of boiling water. It used to be cheaper.. I feel as though this one bottle will last me 20 years or so. I would say for espresso machine owners, this is a necessary grocery item.. It's a real handy thing to have around the house if you have a few coffee thermoses or metal cups which are starting to develop residue.

Get your drink bottles clean as new.
The gold standard of every barista for soaking and cleaning anything metal that touches coffee or tea but safe on plastic too. Perfect for cleaning that black mold and gross smell building up in your Stanleys, Hydro Flasks, et al. Just sprinkle some in, add boiling water, let it sit for 30 min, and rinse.

It works as should be.
It’s a very good product. I use it to soak portafilter, basket, and shower screen of espresso machine. It works great.

Best on the market!
These do a great job on my regular Technivorm coffee maker as well. No mater how you use Puro, dissolve the powder first in another container first. Don't be in a hurry to run it through your machine. Stop at the half-way point; let set overnight if possible. Then restart. That really removes all possible scaling and calcification.

Bit pricey
Cleans mug stains well after a soak. Espresso machine runs well and removes any rancid oils from it.

Puro is amazing
I soaked my stainless travel mugs including the plastic tops they were pretty stained… it took awhile.. like an hour . … the results where amazing. Then like a person on a mission all the plastic cups included with the bullet type blender cups…a those tops.. the electric water pot. I rinsed them all with vinegar water .. then in a moment of cleaning frenzy. I put some in the toilet for the stained part the brush doesn’t reach.. soaked for a few hours . Probably better toilet cleaners out there . All look like new. Wonder what I will find tomorrow to clean? Puro wow ! When tomorrow arrived i soaked my stainless steel dog bowls ..for the water bowls .. dealing with some serious hard water here however the bowls are much improved..
