JDAMALEYWO Cantilever Offset Scope Mount 30mm for Picatinny Rail

Bought this because the mount I bought with the vortex scope "shipped separately" or was shipped after I complained. Depending on one's perspective.Mount worked just fine. Came with all the screws. Put on an 18 inch AR with zero issues. Around a hundred rounds so...take it with a giant grain of salt, but the mount stayed where it should and the screws stayed tight.I may leave this mount on. Which means I may have to buy another scope for the spare mount I now have. The horror.

I was debating between this an aeroPrecision and warne. I am so glad I took a chance on this. I actually have the 2 inch offset vortex mount on another AR and this one is identical. I actually think they are made at same manufacture but not branded. I actuallyLike the looks of the warne 1 inch mount but this is for a lower end build mounting a primary arms 1-6 optic and for $45 there is not a better mount avalible anywhere. I use or have gone through pretty much all of them. There is no better option under $70.... It's probably worth $80 or $90 but it's better than some of my $100+ mounts... Freaking awesome.Update 6 months later: I ended up putting his mount on a much highend gun and it's worked extremely well. I have taken the gun out on 3 seperate occasions and each time the gun is shooting sub MOA at 100-300 yards. The comsistancy is due in part to mount. It replaced an American defense QD mount which seemed to be shifting. This mount solved he he issue I was having.

The mount came with everything needed to attach and looks great. The big problem I had with it was that after about 150 rounds (.223) the screws came loose and the scope (Vortex Strikefire 1-4) began to move around. I wasn't sure if it was an I failed to tighten it all the way even though I thought I did, or it just shook itself loose, but when I got back I added loctite to the screws and made sure they were on there tight this time.After taking it out again after adding loctite and making sure the screws were fully tight, and putting a mix 200 rounds (both steel case and m855 62 grain) through it, there was no wiggle at all. I guess the key to this mount is to make sure you have it properly installed and fully tightened.

I was surprised how nice this mount was. I would honestly compare it to the vortex mount that cost a lot of money. I mounted it on an AR and it felt very sturdy. It had no play at all in the mount to the rail and would not slide. Scope fit very well in the rings and had a uniform hold on the body of the scope. It's not bulky and looks sharp on the AR. Someone actually dropped the rifle and the scope did not budge, held zero perfectly through the shock of the drop. This will be my go-to for single piece scope mounts from now on.

I was very impressed with the quality and performance of the Red Iron Tactical Cantilever Ring Mount. It's comparable in quality to more expensive scope mounts. Often, les expensive mounts skimp by using cheap fasteners, and the heads cam out or the threads strip, but that wasn't the case with the Red Iron mount. I used this mount to put a Vortex tactical scope onto a Beretta ARX100 rifle.

Don't pay more for a name brand mount. I purchased this and was a bit skeptical about the quality given the $42 price point. I am extremely sastisfied and would definitely buy this again. I used it to mount a Vortex PST 2.5-10x30 scope to my Bushmaster Predator. It looks great and is a fantastic mount. Don't spend $90 on name brand.

Pros: Great mount, very robust, would absolutely buy again for the price. Im convinced it comes from the same factory as the vortex. You pay a little more for the vortex because they have to include their excellent warranty in that price. I don't know all of this for sure but if I was in vegas I would put a heavy wager on it.Cons: Being robust comes at a price... this thing is heavy.

I bought this to mount 1x4x24 Vortex scope on a flat top AR 15 and I have not found a better mount at this price, the fit ,finish and function are excellent. It looks like a $100 mount and costs half. There was not a lot of reviews for this product and I almost passed it by so I am happy I gave Buds machine a try, It is exactly what I was looking for.
