It has multiple reoccurring characters, consecutive timelines (with flashbacks), and overarching themes. Over 70% of this story is about the details of what happened to Koda and Thayleah while they where in college at Stonewall. There is also a secret society introduced that could make a new spin-off if desired.I love how this has been like one intense action-packed, drama-filled, hits-keep-on-coming mysterious romance! There are also some colloquialisms that didn’t match what would be used in the US, especially in the south. I am mentioning these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.This story begins where the previous ended, with some repetitive scenes from a different point of view. These scenes go back to when the Militia attacked the Defiance clubhouse killing Koda’s parents, the MC’s President and First Lady.It also contains details about what happened to Thayleah when she was kidnapped by her brother-in-law (Phoenix Club Girl Diaries) and a little bit about her life with the Defiance MC in Phoenix.It is great to finally have some more details about these incidents. The different perspectives really rounds it out. I just wish that these could have been shared at the time. With it taking place now, it makes for some repetitive reading, and there are a couple that don’t really offer any additional information.Regardless I still HIGHLY recommend this story and series.

Loved experiencing Koda’s journey to figure out what he wants and how to embrace the family legacy in the MC. Heading to Stonewall for college is a turning point. Meeting Thayleah at a frat party is his destiny. Thayleah is a survivor and found a family with an MC club in Arizona. Her dream was always to go to Stonewall which they made happen. At a vulnerable moment, she looked up and into Koda’s eyes and found peace. These two find a wonderful connection and as they work to build a relationship, Koda stumbles into the secret Scorpio Society which puts everything at risk. Will Koda be able to solve this mystery on his own? Will they be able to break away from the Scorpio Society games? I loved this couple and how they worked together to find their future. Hanging on a cliff with this amazing ending! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I have really enjoyed this series, and I can't believe that there's only one more book left! I'm sad to see this end, but I'm definitely looking forward to reading the NOLA Defiance MC series!I love Koda's story so far, and I can't wait to see how it all ends. This is definitely a must read series!I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

I am so happy it went back and talked about Koda and Thayleahs story. I was wondering any time parts were mentioned just what happened. It was a good book. I am so worried about what is to come tho. I am scared to death just who is gonna make it out alive with the other book. I just hope its everybody but I highly doubt that.

We have to wait for the conclusion to this story in the next book, plus the series endimg. I love Defiance whether in Chicago or Houston they are all family and would love to see more from them. Waiting for the 8th and final book.😥😳📗

Koda and Thayleah are introduced to us in Explosive for Koda and the Elites for Thayleah. This is a cliffhanger. They are really good for each other. They compliment each other.

I loved Kodas story , lots of twists an turns love that thus book was a flash back to their history an how they met but I love the fact that their story continues in the next book fingers crossed its a happy ending .

Another brilliant book in the series. Young Kody is off to college but what he finds a d uncovers is way more than he bargained for.

Did anyone else feel that 90 % of this book was just copy and paste from other books? I knew that whole story from reading this author’s other books. I even checked the release date because I was thinking that I have already read this book! Don’t get me wrong I think KE Osborn is brilliant!! One of my top three authors. I would read her grocery list if I had the chance! This book just confused me. Well written and a great story but one that’s already been told. I can’t wait for book 8 as I have loved this series from the start. Sorry I kind of went on a bit of a rant. Thank you for all the wonderful books that you have shared. Looking forward to many, many more.
