The house I live in is pre-wired with Ethernet jacks in every room, so I take full advantage of that and try to connect every device that I can with a cable instead of using WiFi. Even the fastest WiFi connection won't be as reliable and fast as the fastest Ethernet connection. I needed these 10-foot cables because the cables I had were only 6 feet long and I have a few areas where the devices I want to connect are more than 6 feet away from the wall jack or Ethernet switch I am using. So these cables solved that problem. They are working great so far, and I'm getting the full speed that I expect from CAT6 cables.
