A quick trip to the hardware store resulted in good carriage bolts and rubber caps to fit them.Also expect to air it out for a week or so as the one I got stunk of steel mill (smoke and carbon) and had loose steel milling detritus everywhere. I gave up the included rubber mat as a lost cause and replaced it, but the rest of the horrific smell went away with time and a good cleaning of all the metal surfaces.But, it's a cheap unit compared to real professional scales so I expected the usual poor Chinese knockoff manufacturing issues; and otherwise, it seems accurate, stable and as much value for the money as I expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Thumbs up *by G***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2016* Great and all ready to use. I bought this item Feb 4th. Returned it because it didn't work. I bought another one thinking that surely this one would work. It worked for exactly 2 weeks and then stopped working. It doesn't come with any kind of manual or any way to pull up a manual. I did find out that the Total Pet name is associated (if not the same company) as Pet Edge. When I contacted them to try to get a manual they told me they wouldn't help me since I bought it through Amazon. I sent it back.
