What an absolute waste of money!

good for 4 year od nephew.

I am raising my 4 year old granddaughter while my son is a long haul truck driver and her mother is incarcerated. I realized a lot by her reactions to these books. It help me know how to help her and what issues were on her mind without asking. Very impressed with how well they are written....simple and insightful. The animal character is perfect too. I would recommend these to read to any child, but a child who has experienced any kind of trauma would especially benefit.

This book is very easy to read, so if you're looking for something that will challenge a 1st or 2nd grader's reading skills then don't buy this book. It's perfect, though, for children of all ages who have some self-esteem issues that need working on (we all go through it sometimes!).I bought this book for my stepson who is such a perfectionist with his homework, that he cries when he makes mistakes. I've often times tell him that we all make mistakes, and we should always try our best. This book has opened him up to speak more about his issues, and help him understand that there are people who love him no matter what. He always feels better after we read it together.The book is short and straight to the point, and anyone can relate to the story. And when I say short, you will have no problem reading this every night without begging for the book to end soon (some children's books are just too tedious!).
