Water will turn brownish. Its not harmful to the fish. Will dissipate in a couple of weeks. Can do a 15%-20% water change if required for aesthetic reasons. **Q: Does this product work for koi ponds in full sun?** A: For me, this stuff works great. My koi pond is almost in full sun. It keeps water clear and is safe for all fish. **Q: In several days my 4 week treatment will be completed and my 3' deep 800 gallon pond is maybe 30-40% more clear. Green algae on rubber sides. Advice?** A: This year we had an unusually warm and super dry spring into summer (Ohio). My use of this product this year took more like 6-7 weeks to get my pond balanced out and algae cleared up. **Q: How long will a 124 ml bottle last me dor a 5000 gallon pond?** A: Maybe a few weeks.
