This mandolin tutor is just what the beginner needs but why is the audio a download it is my personal opinion that the audio tracks should be on a CD or preferably a DVD showing chord shape formation ect, no disc means only 3 stars

A good overview of bluegrass tunes, but many have been changed or adulterated with extra fills and ornamentations, or completely unrecognisable sections, that can distract from the original actual tune (esp Dixie).

per chi si avvicina per la prima volta a questo strumento ed amante del bluegrass un ottimo metodo...semplice con le principali tecniche e diteggiature delle scale piu' utilizzate nel genere..il libro tratta sia l'accompagnamento che lo studio di brani tradizionali tipici..ottimo il cd allegato..
