LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR 42130 Motorcycle Model Kit for Adults, Build and Display Set with Authentic Features, Motorcycle Gift Idea

Got this for my grandson for his BD. After I got it I saw the 18+ on the box and was a little concerned he could do it since he just turned 13.. But he had it done in 2 days besides the fact that it came with one small part missing that he had to fabricate from some parts he had in the garage. THAT really impressed me...... He loves the bike and he and his dad are going to make the wall board display later. 👍👍👍👍👍

This Lego set was expensive but worth every penny. It is well made. I bought this because I ride, and my fiancé had a BMW S1000R (not the same bike yes I know, but close enough!) The instructions were clear and easy to understand. It was fun building it. I was constantly amazed at the research put into taking the real life bike and turning it into a Lego set. The working pistons were awesome. It also has a bike stand that works, and it’s just so cute lol. I would definitely recommend this for any Lego collection.

This bike is awesome and will be tricky for those unfamiliar with Technic. Read reviews before you buy any Lego set above $100. Here’s why: 1) Many reviews whine about the 83 stickers that come with it. If you’re not a fan of stickers, stay away. I personally love the stickers. 2) You Spend the entire second step on the large stand. It helps putting the bike together, but not necessary. 400 or so pieces might not be worth it to you. It was for me. 3) As with any Technic set, there’s many connectors. If this annoys you, Technic isn’t for you. That being said, it’s a fun time to put together and looks great all around. $250 is steep for basically 1400 pieces for the bike (the rest are for 2 stands), but it’s LEGO. You get what you pay for. Make sure to check your bags even if you think you’ve emptied them. 4 seconds extra per bag could save pieces from going missing. I enjoyed every second of this and can’t wait to buy the Yamaha one.

My granddaughter loves it. She said it’s so realistic she’s 18 and it’s a perfect project for her and her dad to work on when she comes home from college.

No corners were cut here. The detail is top of the line. Quite a bit of stickers. Such a fun building experience, excellent display set. This is the bike you NEED in your collection. The inclusion of a rear spool stand is excellent. Buy this before it retires.

Painful build, too many stickers, but absolutely astonishing when finished and makes you forget how much you paid for it
