I would highly recommend the endangered animal set (book, plush animal and placemat) produced by Joovy.The book is sturdy and features scenes including the Sonoran Pronghorn in its natural environment. Also included is a plush Sonoran Pronghorn toy and a colorful & fun placemat.Aside from the set that I purchased, there are other endangered animal sets to choose from.These animal sets are also included in select Joovy’s infant and toddler line.I’m pleased with the quality, price and overall play value of the set! I would purchase another Joovy endangered animal set again.SG

The plush toy was adorable and a high quality. The story was fun and educational. The placemat is a wonderful way to continue to learn about these endangered animals while having fun with Spanish numbers. Great gift item for the holidays or anytime!

This has made the top-ten list for birthday gifts for young children.Everything about the set is top quality, including the themed box it arrives in. You get a super snuggly toy and education materials. Covering all the bases of a thoughtful gift.Supporting the National Park Foundation is a nice bonus.Sea Otters are just the cutest and this set teaches youngsters about their habits and lifestyle.I highly recommend this set!

This set was so cute. I had a hard time choosing between the pronghorn and the southern sea otter, but I went with the sea otter since I'm more familiar with those. And the set - the place mat and the book - has the cutest graphics. It's really nicely done. The book is of heavy cardboard, suitable for a baby or toddler, with really sweet pictures, and the place mat is shaped just right for a high chair tray.I wish I could say the same about the plush. Although acceptable, with a sweet smile- he's a bit...monkey like, especially in the facial area, which isn't what you look for in a sea otter. And I'm assuming that the round purple item in his paws is either a shell or an urchin, but in plush, it looks like a ball - which isn't what we want sea otters to have. I'm kind of wishing I got the antelope instead. But, I'm probably far more particular than the average toddler.And I am really pleased that the information is accurate. Lots of otter materials confuse sea otters with river otters, and vice versa - these are spot on. A nice compilation.

This is a very cute toddler ready educational set. Each set is about a different animal, I chose the Black Footed Ferret. Loosi, is the name and very cute indeed. Comes with a placemat that will fit most curved highchair set ups (will take some work to get them to lie flat but hot water soak in a sink should do it), a small board book (not glossy so likely easily recycled), and the stuffed ferret with embroidered eyes- no choking hazard! Loosi is super cute and should be well loved by any small child. Not a bad price but at $29.99 I wish more than 5% was donated to the National Parks- that's my only criticism.

We've had Joovy items before so I was already familiar with the company having used the Room2 playpen for well over a year. When we decided to gift it to my sister for my nephew this Ferret gift set seemed like the perfect little present to accompany the playpen.The plush is super soft. Not incredibly detailed, but more so than basic plush options. The fur has coloration variations in it that helps to elevate the look of the plush. We didn't find any loose stitching or manufacturing issues before we handed it over to the little one to love on. He's a total hit with my nephew. He's just about 1 so we didn't have any concerns letting him keep the plush around given it's size, and all the features on the plush are embroidery not sewn on extras. The place mat & board-book make this whole thing a perfect little gift all ready to go. I would feel comfortable sending this straight to someone I was gifting it to without having it come to me first to check and package to look nicer.

Joovy's Ben the Pronghorn comes simply boxed in cardboard. The little stuffed animal is nicely made and adorable. The book is a board book and uses colorful and bright illustrations. The story does a great job of educating about the pronghorn. The plastic sheet helps with counting to 10 in both English and Spanish and we use it as a placemat at the table.My 4-year-old loves the book and stuffed animal.All in all... a great set.
