A Change of Heart: A Memoir

Excellent and moving story of her life during a difficult period.
Oh my goodness, she had me in tears at one point. I have learned much, not only about heart transplants, but also the shock factor that often kicks in afterwards, as she wonders whether, with someone else's heart, she is in fact still herself? Very moving story, and highly recommended, especially if you know anyone (or you) are about to go through any kind of transplant.

A poignant book
This book was an excellent read. It is very easy to read and very thought provoking. For those who have lost someone, i think this book could actually be comforting to them as it describes how life can live on even when we die. A note to all - death is the most natural part of life; it is something which we all share and should not be feared! Other books which can help to put the pieces of the puzzle together include THE BIOLOGY OF BELIEF by Dr Bruce Lipton, SPONTANEOUS EVOLUTION by Dr Bruce Lipton; HOW YOUR MIND CAN HEAL YOUR BODY by Dr David Hamilton; THE DIVINE MATRIX by Gregg Braden. I have read all of these books and highly recommend them. Peace to all!!

Riveting and mind-blowing
Highly recommended - a middle-aged dancer, mortally ill, gets the heart and lungs of a teenage boy. And so many things appear in her psychology which had not been there before - . She makes very good use of the opportunity to become more alert and aware and integrated.

A change of perception!
Fascinating, it raises so many questions about what we know and what we think we know. It challenges the medical profession and how they deal with donors relatives and address the psychological impact on recipients. But above all it raises questions about who we are and what happens to us after our death, the most persuasive proof that we live on. When the Dr's don't understand and cannot explain then they adopt the ostrich methodology.
