Does this provide significantly more protection than other silicone cases? Also, how hard is it to remove and put on this case?

This case is like baking silicone molds. It’s very stretchy and flexible. Easy to put on and off. As for protection, idk. We haven’t dropped it. But if it did drop I would expect damage to the pump.

Whats the recommended clip to attach to this?

I do not use the clip as I just put the pump with the case in my pocket/

Can the cartridge be changed without removing the case?

Yes. You can change it and access the battery as well. The battery one is a little mis-cut so you have to nudge it out of the way to close it. No big. I love the case
