They do glow in the dark as you can see in the picture. I used my flash light on one which was the brightest in the picture. I didn't have time to put them in direct sunlight. But I will be putting all 96 in direct sunlight for at least 5hrs. which is something you should do with all glow in the dark things. Honestly I leave it for at least morning till night. That will give you the best results. Also keep them where the sun will shine on them if you dont they won't glow. Of course thats common sense. Now the quality of the butterflies. You do get what you pay for. I personally think they look better from a far away distance When its day time. Also it made out of plastic so if you get them wet for some weird reason it won't be a problem. VERY IMPORTANT it does seem to have been made out of clear plastic then printed the design on. Just a warning for those that want to be cheap and buy something that gives you 96 butterflies for about 10 dollars but want a better quality. But wont pay for better quality. Again you get what you paid for. If you wanted to know why I got them. I got them because I wanted to put them on my ceiling where I have glow in the dark stars as well on my walls. I might put them so they are flying together in a certain direction. It will look good in the day and night. I will put them next to my better quality butterflies I paid for. That dont glow and are only 12. Btw I will be buying more!!!Ps. I will update

Few had falled off but I fixed them with stronger tape. They glow in the dark but I have to have the lights on all day for the butterflies to glow other wise they wouldn't. The butterflies are beautiful though and worth the buy.

Not even going to lie.... I spent like 45 minutes applying these to my 8 year olds room..... just for them to fall off one by one by the end of the week. Had washed the walls, dried them, and then applied with a good amount of pressure smh

They’re not glow in the dark at all. The adhesive stickers seem to be good. Wish they were already on the butterflies but whatever. They’re cheap
