Can u help ?** A: Different sounds can be made by pressing the buttons on the top of the toy. If nothing happens, you could check the batteries. There should be a little compartment that holds the batteries. Some toys have a piece of plastic stuck in a slot between the batteries to prevent expiration when you first get them; however, I don't remember if this item was like that, since it was such a long time ago that I purchased it. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice toy with slight design flaw *by A***R on June 19, 2018* This toy is a nice size and has cool features for a child: doors open and there's enough room in the vehicle to put a LEGO figure, for example. There are some buttons to make various sounds (e.g., siren sound and reversing vehicle sound). Sound quality is good. However, it does have a flaw that detracts from its enjoyment. The back door of the ambulance does not open and shut easily. There's a little knob at the bottom of the door that the child is supposed to pull to open the door and push to shut the door. It does not work; you have to slightly lift the door to open and shut it. That is difficult for a 2 or 3 year old, and sometimes even I have to fiddle with it to get the door to open or shut.
