High quality
This is a high quality item and beautiful but it is small...holds 6 oz comfortably. I also don't put it in the dishwasher because I don't want the lovely finish wearing off.

Cute Mug - Does not look microwavable, but gift recipient says it is...
I bought this as a gift and it is VERY cute. It even has cute dainty paw prints traveling up the mug handle. However, the mustard color you see in the photo is actually metallic gold and so I highly doubt it is microwavable. I looked for it on another site to see a different description besides what Amazon lists and yes, a different site said: "Hand wash recommended. Do not microwave." Since I often find myself reheating my morning coffee in the microwave and assume my gift-recipient does also, this is kind of a bummer. But hey, guess they will just have to drink their hot beverage faster when using this mug! Also, I did see one small flaw in the paint (unfortunately showing on the side for right-handed people, aka - my gift recipient) which was disappointing since it was pretty expensive for a mug AND since I will be giving it as a gift; however, I still didn't want to knock it down a star. Just be aware if you're giving one as a gift that it may not be 100% perfect/pristine.UPDATE: 1/6/16 - asked my recipient if they had been putting the mug in the microwave and yes, they have -- no problems whatsoever in the past 1.5 years. So yes,I guess it is microwaveable!

totally cute and perfect for my besties birthday present since we both have black cats. The print/paint, whatever it is, is on pretty good and in good quality. I wont be able to tell if itll still be good since I wont be using it but if she tells me anything about the wear and tear I will update. Definitely a cute gift and I recommend

I can also confirm this mug is fine in the microwave! It's such a cute little cup, I love it.

Super, super cute
Super, super cute! Even cuter in real life. The only thing that lets it down slightly for me is the handle is a bit thin. Otherwise excellent.

Smaller than I thought it would be, but it's ...
Smaller than I thought it would be, but it's decently dense ceramic and the paint hasn't come off yet, after a run in the dish washer (like some other mugs I've purchased)
