Extremely tacky tape that is very robust. I am using this to fix Christmas lights and is looking to be a good solution.

Used for cracks in Acrylic bath. Prepped and dried before using tape. So far after nearly two weeks of showerings soaps and cleaning still stuck to the bath and keeping it water tight.

Does not work. We had a small leak in our guttering. No great pressure at all, but the tape won't stick to the guttering to create a seal, even when we applied several layers! Certainly would be no use under water. Should never have believed their marketing hype, and saved my money.

Good adhesion also easy to tear but like most sticky tapes glass has to extremely dry or it won’t adhere.

Out of three different ones I bought at the same time, tesa has the largest amount of glue on it, and yes - it sticks well underwater (in my case - sea water pool). It's 5cm wide, so if you need coverage for a larger area, there are some wider options, but for a small area this one seems very good. As with any underwater tape, it needs to be pressed well to the surface to start sticking, and you need to make sure you push any water out from the center to the edges for a good seal.
