Scribner Book Company The New Joy of Cooking

If you only own one cookbook, this might be the one you want. Our family has used this book for decades. The recipes are excellent and time tested. Some of the recipes in this book are more complex and less "fool proof" than internet recipes, but they are usually the best if executed well. Highly recommended.

Ce livre est vraiment une bible de la cuisine américaine mais aussi pâtes italiennes, viennoiseries françaises.... Très complet : des dessins expliquent les parties techniques de cuisine, les aliments de base.
