Freedom Flight - The Origins of Mental Power Hardcover – 1 April 2008

Quick read, simple to understand. It promises a lot, I think you will need to read the next book to get more.

Many inspirational messages can be drawn. Most important message could be separating unimportant vs important and talking about life purpose.

The story of Jack Sands and his mental control in the worst possible situation is an inspiration to everyone. Although the context is for excelling in sport, the message is for every person facing a dilemma or a bad phase in life.

It's not quite what it seems and seems to be a re-hash of a story that has appeared elsewhere. I have a vague recollection that the Vietnam PoW account was covered in similar fashion in a Reader's Digest article a couple of decades ago. It's entertaining but slightly spoiled for me as it is contrived, rather than a true account. Some will undoubtedly gain more from it than I did.

Ordered book and it was delivered to my I-pad but it has now disappeared!

I read this book, went and did some shooting, and scored my best scores. Positive thinking really does work and this book is all about positive thinking and how to apply it to a shooting scenario in particular, but also other aspects of your lives as well. Highly recommended.

I have read several books concerning this topic. This is in the style of Og Mandino. Easy to read but profound in its impact.
