Dead and alive and dead and alive
Super fun! Dries up to a brown, dead-looking ball! Add a little water and it comes back to life. Trippiest plant I've ever seen.

Not as described
I am returning the product because Iโm disappointed with it. It doesnโt come out nice and full as described. Mine were half full and partially dead after being in water for 48 hours. I was going to display them but returning instead.

eh
I was excited to finally buy this especially since the price lowered, but not so much anymore. It arrived messier than expected and dirt spilled everywhere. There also wasn't any care guide or information provided in the packaging. After letting it soak in water for a day it was definitely impressive to see how green and lively it became. What has been conflicted are two things. The first issue is the smell. Once wet, this plant smells like a murky pond (smells bad). Second, is the water which also happened to look and smell like a murky pond. Despite cleaning the plant thoroughly and replacing the water, it took less than a day before the water became slimy and produced white muck. There's no way to keep this plant in still water, nonetheless, a container without it smelling and looking nasty. You need a filter or air pump to provide water flow if you plan on keeping this in water. I definitely would never use this in tea either. Thankfully, I have an air pump so ill keep this outside, and hopefully, it'll flourish into something worth having. If not, ill pass it on as a cool project for kids to explore before throwing it out.

Prompt delivery
Well, it is a dead looking ugly item. Iโm a gardener and gifting a gardener, so I hope it will look nice later on. Normally plants should be pretty, but 35 years garden club give patience. Itโs a cheap but interesting gift.

Mine is Beautiful!
I actually put mine in a bowl of distilled water for about 15 minutes. After that I placed it on a bed of pebbles in a somewhat medium size container/bowl. I added distilled water to that, but just enough to cover the pebbles so that the root ball was sitting in water. It was fully opened in about 3-4 hours. If the plant still has brown leaves just mist it with some distilled water. However, you MUST change the water everyday until your plant becomes acculated to it's environment. I'm actually training mine to stay fully submerged in a giant glass goblet. It's beautiful.
