While these are a good size they are SUPER flimsy! I figured I'd give these a try since they were half the price of the ones I normally use. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money and get ones that are better quality! I bought these to pin my consignment clothes to hangers but not only do these bad boys bend easily the also pop open easy and the last thing i want is my pins popping open so that my stuff comes off!!

I purchased the curved large safety pins for pin basting my quilting projects and oh boy what a disaster those pins were. First of all, they were dull and it took hard pushing to get the pin through the quilt layers, and second, they were so dull they pulled the batting out around the pin so I bought these pins to replace the curved ones. Well right off the bat they were opened and tested. I don't know why Amazon reviewers are so picky, just grab some sturdy scissors, pull up and open the staples and go to work. These pins are exactly what I needed and the company Mr. Pen Store includes a nice little support card and some kind of mustache. I don't know if its a tatoo or a sticker but I have purchased from them before. These pins will get the job done and are a good price for 200 count. ps. Avoid those curved quilting pins I mentioned, they are very dull!

This is a great buy on a package of safety pins, which seem to be very hard to find where I live. We actually use them to pin socks together so they don’t get lost in the washer and dryer. My husband and I have been doing this for many years; as soon as you remove your socks after you warm them, pin them together throw them in the clothes hamper, then into the washer then into the dryer back into the drawer. No more lost socks. It’s really very easy and much faster than searching for mates to socks. And everyone knows the washing machine “eats“ socks. The price is fantastic too for so many pins!

For the $6 I paid to get a ton of safety pins, I can't complain too much, but... If you're looking for sturdy thick old-school pins, these are not them. Because of their overall thinness, they bend easily, and can come undone just as easily; not exactly a 'safety' pin. If sturdiness doesn't concern you, they're fine.

Not only are these 2" safety pins of excellent quality, the packaging and included note demonstrates care goes into 'Mr.Pen's products. The pins are packaged in a flat, thick mailing box. The pin container is a large flat clear, tightly lidded plastic box. Perfect for storing. I am about to visit the Mr.Pen store front to see what else they carry. This is probably one of very, very few reviews I have written. A result of the care given the product and its packaging.
