Don't pay for a professional!
Super easy to clamp on. You just need a flathead screwdriver. Really solid feeling. I tugged on it and I'm pretty sure this thing could survive a hurricane. I would say I'd buy it again but I think this thing will outlive the house

Looks nice and it fit my chimney
Birds kept on taking my screen off. The chimney cover fits well, looks nice and will hold in our strong winds we get sometimes.

This is one big chimney flue! My husband was able to get in up and on (our chimney is over 35 feet in the air). Once up on the roof, it took about 5 minutes to install. Looks great.

Lifetime Quality
I love this. We had our mason put it on the chimney for us. It fit just right. The mason was actually very interested to learn that Draft King makes this size (I think we got the 4”x8” one? If memory serves...) He said he didn’t know they made this size and made a larger one fit onto his own chimney with wooden shims. Anyhow, it’s an excellent product. The quality speaks for itself. I expect this thing to last at least for my lifetime!

Bolted on tight periodically clean it great product
Great product! Must be cleaned periodically if you choke your wood stove or fire down a lot and you put out a lot of set it will clog the mesh on this Chimney Cap must be cleaned or you die

Atypical size requirement solved
Unable to locate this 20 x 20 " size locally, thank you amazon for coming to the rescue! Product fit perfectly, and super easy to install as a replacement for the chimney cover.

BROKE WITHIN 2 MONTHS OF INSTALL
DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ON YOUR ROOF AFTER A SMALL WIND STORM TO REMOVE YOUR BROKEN CHIMNEY CAP. Company refuses refund/replacement after 30 days of product arriving. Quite “limited” indeed. Wire mesh is barely welded to cap, broke loose very easily. Poor quality and even poorer customer service. After it breaks, and it will. Adhere some high heat epoxy, or similar, in an attempt to salvage this piece of garbage.

We installed the 13” X 13” chimney cap on our 12” X 12” masonry fireplace chimney today. Very easy to install and looks good as well.
