Independently Published Loner: An Enemies-to-Lovers Standalone Romance

I just finished this book and I can honestly say I have a book hangover! The story so lived up to the hype I was reading about it! Loved Keegan!! She’s a strong heroine! She’s been through so much lose in her short life, yet she keeps moving forward with a positive attitude. She’s raising a daughter on her own and putting her happiness first. Speaking of her daughter, Millie is ADORABLE!!! This child stole my heart!! She’s funny, sassy, shy with strangers, and honest to a fault! Crawford, or Ford, is such a complicated hero. He has made himself a loner and isolated himself from society. There are several reasons for his behavior- family issues, feeling abandoned by his brother, being an awkwardly shy child. When he meets Keegan and Millie, Millie immediately bonds with him. As she puts it, he gets why she doesn’t talk to strangers. Those 2 together are just absolutely adorable! Some of the sweetest moments in the book involve Ford and Peep! (Love that little nickname!) The other 2 characters that stole my heart were dogs!! Patch and Elsa were wonderful and important as family members!! I couldn’t put this book down! Such a fantastic story that had all the feels!
