Decent price and good flavor for use in recipes. Quality was as expected and shipping was fast.

As a child growing up in the southern United States, sorghum molasses was a breakfast staple in our household. Poured over soft, steamy buttered biscuits, nothing compares to the comforting flavor of authentic, sweet and thick sorghum syrup. I hadn’t been able to locate any for many years and although it was quite expensive, I knew I had to take a chance when I saw this on Amazon. The Oberholtzer’s brand does it exactly right. It’s delicious and brought me back home for breakfast. This jar is pretty large and should last me a while, but we’ll see.

Positively delicious. The jar was triple wrapped and double-boxed to ensure that it would sail through the shipping unscathed. Well done!! It is just a cryin’ shame that sorghum is so hard to come by in the U.S.A. Such is my experience.

Nothing like pure Kentucky sorghum molasses. I've been enjoying it for over 80 years! I will not say that molasses is responsible for my long life BUT it hasn't caused an earlier death.

Good sweetener for foods, but not so great for coffee.

I am very happy to have purchased this product. It was packed flawless and secure. It's funny how you can crave a taste from the past, and appreciate it more than you ever remember. Soon as I had the jar open I savored a spoonful. I will be making steamed brown bread in the near future. I will enjoy this so much more than I ever have regular molasses. The price was worth paying just to have this on hand at all times. It has a place of honor on my counter. I was surprised to see how expensive it actually is and how hard it is to come by. I remember my dad introducing me to sorghum and telling me to take a teaspoon everyday. I chose the right brand. It is the real deal, NOT a blend.
