Good value for money.

(Check out my video review above for a little more detail)It is very hard to get a 5 start review from me, however this device gets it! It is simple and gets that job done. The device is 100% metal and truly durable and will last over time. I really like the screw mechanism that allows you to open and close the holder. This allows for you to fit smaller devices like iPods and also being able to get those plus size phones into here. In my images I am using a Samsung galaxy S4 which is the same size as a iPhone 8. The tripod mount is a standard sized mount and I have had no problem with it fitting regular tripods.If you are looking for a solid holder for your mobile device this is the one for you!

It’s nice having one that won’t explode on you randomly like my previous plastic one. I am using this with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Only thing I wish it had were a port to screw on the tripod on the SIDE of it. That was a feature on my plastic one that I got a LOT of use out of. I expected this to have that but oddly enough, it doesn’t. Still definitely worth buying!

I had an incident with a spring loaded phone holder which nearly ruined by phone. After that, I decided that my phone was worth too much not to get something better. So far I love it. It works way better than the cheap spring loaded phone holder. It is a lot heavier and bigger the the cheaper spring ones, but it holds my phone nice and secure. It is solid metal and has a nice 1/4 screw hole on the bottom as well as a cold shoe mount on top.I have a Galaxy s6 which fits great (with cover). My wife has a Galaxy note 4 which also fits, (just barely with the cover on but it held the firmly in place). I attach the mount onto my L bracket along with a microphone and a small external light. The rig worked perfect.I have been using it for about a month now and it still as solid as the day I received it. I was a bit concerned about the screws warping, but I think as long as your not torquing them too tight, there should not be any problems. I will report back if I the screws starts warping.The only potential negative is the rubber footings. They seem to be put on half hazard but so far they have not fallen off. At some point, they may work themselves loose.Overall a good buy.

Great mount!Compact and lightweight, but expands to hold my massive Samsung Galaxy Note 8 without a problem and remains stable. Works great with my Gorillapod mount for phone vlogging and holds the phone securely!The built-in cold-shoe is an unbeatable feature. I currently have a small Rode VideMicro mounted to it and it's in a perfect position for most uses, but it also works well for my larger Rode VideoMic Pro, as well.Construction is very nice. All metal, nice knurling on the screws for easy grip and the "jaws" are lightly padded so your device won't be damaged.Highly recommended!

I love this. The item is as advertised. I love how it's made of metal. Very sturdy and secure. When choosing this my main concern is the space between the back of my phone and the mount. I have a Nexus 6 which has a curved back. Plus a protective case. PLUS a, I forgot what it's called, but that thing you stick behind the phone so you can put your finger in and be able to hold the phone more securely in your hand. So the rear of my phone is very bulky. With other mounts they just don't grip my phone as securely as I'd like as it would almost be at the edge of the phone. With this mount it's perfect. With the added feature of the "claw"-like grips, I just love it! Thank you for a great product!

Wow this little thing is built like a tank, I will not lie I have been avoiding reviews lately but I had to jump on and review this little gadget. I have the s8 with an otter box on it and it opens wide enough to fit and the thumb screw holds everything down nice and tight. It is very well constructed and looks like it will last a long time I chose the one with the cold shoe on it so I can attach my rode Mic to it everything fits well. It attaches right to my smatree selfie stick no problem no miss matching of threads or wobble. I will be getting a flex tripod soon and try it out on that it so far it's great

These are great for Iphones with a deeper width (case,wallet case etc). You do not have to remove the case to use the mount with your phone.

We’ve been using this since it was purchased and I’ve gotta say… I am extremely impressed with it…. It’s sturdy and extremely well made… it clamps your phone extremely secure…. If I had to pick something that I didn’t like about it.. It would only be that when using an iPhone 13 pro max it can be a little tricky to get it in and out… but that’s not because of the clamp as such it’s just because the phone itself with a case is HUGE… but having said that you can still get the phone in and out… so all in all it’s still worth a buy. 😎👊🏻
