History Timeline: World History

The chart is incredibly smooth and near luxurious to touch. The stock that it is printed on is much heavier than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The images are bright and balance the informational blurbs that keep one thinking and going back for more. I bought this as a proactive, nonforceful way of introducing the truth in our history to my three children. It has ignited an awesome level of curiosity and thought-provoking conversations that simply delight me to no end. I couldn’t ask for a better (sneaky) learning tool. In this disconnected world of technology---a place where children would rather share facetime with a screen instead of a person---I am thankful for this piece of art. It is a beautifully crafted piece marrying historical truth and modern imagery.

This is a very interesting poster! Helpful and fun to see how the history of the world overlaps throughout the years. The pictures are bright and detailed. The wording is easy to read but is in a smaller-than-normal font. I would definitely recommend this poster especially for parents of a middle-schooler like we are.

I was a little disappointed in this. I know it is a world history timeline, but I was hoping for something a little more American focused.

I really love this timeline for my classroom but be aware: My son, who is a college history major, found numerous typos and misspellings on the poster. For example, "Eloponnesian War" instead of Peloponnesian War. I will be sure to warn my students of these typos so we can still enjoy the visual aspects of this neat timeline. Historia, please correct the typos and misspellings!

Not quiet as large as a teacher would like for their classroom but still fantastic content. I laminated it and still hung it up, the kids can come up close and study it.

This is a very nice looking piece but needs serious editing. My jaw just about dropped when I got it up on my classroom call only to find Julius Caesar called "Emperor." That doesn't pass the Wikipedia test.

This thing is huge!!! It covers a wall and then some in our basement. It's a great tool for learning history but also a perfect conversation piece. It's full of information and will get people talking and interested in history.

My son’s History teacher has this hanging in his classroom. My son loved it, so I surprised him with this at Christmas. Was so happy I could find it!

This is smaller than I expected which is fine. Great for my little history buffs. I find my 6 year old just staring at it all the time.

Eigentlich ein tolles Poster, aber eben habe ich es nun endlich aufgehängt und leider feststellen müssen, dass das Papier so unregelmäßig gewellt ist, dass ein planes Anbringen an der Wand unmöglich ist. Es scheint - obwohl von außen an der Transportrolle nicht erkennbar -, dass dieses Plakat irgendwann sehr feucht geworden ist und dadurch seine Qualität einbüßen musste. So sieht es jedenfalls schrecklich aus. Bleibt wohl nur die Rücksendung...

I bought one of these for my children aged 8 and 11 and I have it framed in our kitchen. The kids love it and whenever they have friends over they are drawn to it, pointing things out and discussing the pictures and captions, which I think are really varied and interesting. The quality of it is better than I expected and I will definitely be buying more from the range.
