TrespassWomen's Santuzza Womens Down Jacket

I've had a jacket similar in style to this 'Santuzza' (an el cheapo one from Brave Soul a few years ago! though it didn't have Trespass' Coldheat technology), so I had an idea what to expect.If you're seeking out extreme weather gear - this isn't it! It's on the lighter side (though it has 'Coldheat' insulation - this may be the Trespass version of Thinsulate?). There's no rated water resistance or proofing - which isn't even mentioned on websites I've looked up.This is more a 'mild weather walk, trip round town, drop kids off at school' sort of coat.The Black in the stock photo (which Trespass themselves use) has had the colour balance tweaked to look BROWN - so I wasn't sure which colour would turn up. It's definitely Black. The image is misleading! Luckily I wouldn't have minded either colour.Size 16 is also denoted as 'XL' on the inner label. I thought this was a mistake when I saw 'XL' printed on the tags - Size L is generally equivalent to UK Size 16 for most branded clothing (16 is the size I chose when ordering). XL fits wonderfully with room for a sweater. Arms are long enough and the coat goes past my bum with four inches (ish) spare. (I'm 6'1, so I appreciate longer coats and sleeves!).Walked around on a mild, sometimes blustery and intermittently (light) rainy Highland spring day (at the end of March) earlier and felt content and warm. I don't think it would fare well in a downpour but this is described as a 'Casual Jacket' on the Trespass website.Also mentioned on the manufacturer webpage - and worth noting when compared to Amazon's description: This is NOT 'Down' if we're talking duck feathers (Amazon's header could also be confusing) - Trespass themselves say this coat has 'Filling:100% Polyester Down Touch', the weight is rated at '300g'.Niggles aside, I'm really happy with this coat! The belt makes it look more feminine. Being on the thinner and lighter side, it's easy to pack away too.(I should be a poet with the title I've just dreamt up XD)

Great coat , warm & cozy for an autumn day. Not sure how dry it will keep you but for dry days it’s a bargain.

Not great. Cheap looking light weight and not worth the money. Thin, unlined, no hood adjusters. Disappointed and being returned.
