OK people quit buying the overpriced disposable gels and crappy soft insoles. These wool insoles keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Absorb sweat without stink(wool non microbial) If they get damp or wet take them out to dry Throw them in the wash machine and or dryer . Like walking on a cloud and they last forever. Just remember they do take up some room but crush slightly over time, and mold to custom fit you're feet. Just buy them you will not regret it.

They are quite stiff when new but work in to a nice softness after several wearings and yet remain nice and thick.

I have several sets of these felt inserts. These are of excellent quality and are thick enough to act as shock absorbers (this is important for older folks who have lost much of the natural padding in the bottoms of their feet). They also provide insulation against both heat and cold, and since they have a high wool content, they are less likely to cause your feet to sweat, like gel and foam inserts do. They also are relatively easy to cut to size (best to use heavy, sharp shears). Get them bigger than you need and cut them down to fit--you'll be glad you tried them.

Good product, nice quality, somewhat expensive but worth it.
