Very happily surprised with the MeeBot 2.0. The packaging is of great quality. I could not wait too much to start building the robot. it took me a couple of hours but the result was much better of what I expected. The guidelines in the app are very clear and the default motions in the app are pretty fun to try. The balance of the robot is great!. I can't wait to explore what else we can do by coding more functions. The kids will love it. The only thing that I would suggest ubiteck to check is the app, I was using thee android version and it kind of takes over all the phone (I was note able to see some notifications on my phone when the jimu app was open), other than that everything is great. Great quality at a great price!.

Very nice package and very detailed instruction with the 3D step-by-step instruction in the APP. The block-based coding program is great for my 7-year-old nephew to learn. He has been using online virtual tools to learn this kind of coding. But this one with a physical robot is much better since he can watch the robot’s actual movements after he programed, where he is more motivated. With 6 motors and 2 LED eyes, this robot can make funny movements and seems alive. This is a good education tool and brought a lot of joy to him.

Not going to lie I think I am more bummed than my son that we got this for. It was such an exciting thing for him and he was excited to use this. It stated that this worked with a compatible android or IOS device. Well come to find out the compatible Android device they are talking about is none of them. I really wanted this to work for him. This is the kind of thing that he loves.

Amazing kit. I bought this for my 8 year-old goddaughter. Her parents were delighted to see how quickly she started programming the robot and having fun with controlling the moves. All the parts and motors are good quality and the programming application is very intuitive. I definitely recommend this robot to introduce kids to STEM. It's worth the price!

Plenty of the initial robot-building seemed unnecessary, lots of LEGO-like stacking of small pieces. A lot of that should be pre-assembled unless they add some context in the building steps, like educating on what the wire we're plugging in is going to do or how that bit works in general. Also, the various parts are distributed in random bags so you have to go back and forth between bags from step to step. I used the app on my Android phone which worked pretty well overall. Definitely wish the step by step building section would more clearly highlight the right hole to connect the bits to, it takes some guessing now and removing parts and placing them into the correct slots is a bit of a pain. Would've loved getting a heads up about charging up Jimu somewhere in the directions so that I wouldn't have been left waiting to power up after pouring hours into building it. There are good preset moves coded into the app to control Jimu with and the from-scratch coding seems like it can be pretty in-depth depending on the amount of time invested. The tutorial challenges could use some better wording, right now it seems like sentences were translated directly from another language. Also, in the Community section of the app, I wish all the content would be legible in english.
