I am impressed with the features. Autofocus is the big deal compared to comparable lenses. A great range for both portraits and landscapes.

For the money this is a great lens and I have already gotten many good images with it. Macro feature is a great bonus even though it is 1:2 and not 1:1. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it has no vibration/shake reduction and that it can be challenged during auto focus. I knew that those features would be lacking when I made the purchase and was prepared to deal with it - so I am not disappointed in the least. Just want others to know that you may need to adjust your technique to get the results you are after. If you are on a budget I would recommend this lens without reservation. If you have the cash to purchase the anti-shake version I would say go for it instead...

Love this lense. I've gotten plenty of great shots out of this lense on my Nikon d3200. It's amazing how clean the images look!

The autofocus motor began to make strange noises 1 month after purchase, and failed after 2 months with minimal use. The lens itself is fine, just not as an autofocus lens.

lovely lens for my d3400, takes a litle bit getting used to and i recommend just using manual focus. the autofocus is rather noisy and cant make up its mind

Great lens for the money, have gotten several nice shots with it. I use it on my Nikon D3200 and have not had any issues with the auto focus.

My son is taking film and photography classes. He got this for his birthday and loved it.

This lens worked nicely for several months. But after approximately a year of minimal/occasional use, the lens stopped working.
