Great horns. Loud with or without the relay. These are basically just black versions of the red Hella twin trumpets.

Tried some no name horns and they were all terrible. This set made a huge difference. Much louder and did not need a relay. Used the factory horn harness with a splitter. Works great.

Great horns. I bought these to replace the dual horns on my 1987 Alfa Romeo Milano and they did the trick. Also, they are noticeably louder than the stock Fiamm horns and have a similar tone. The Fiamms were probably slightly more musical but it's a close call; these Hellas sound like the fiamms with the volume cranked up so there is an ever so slight distortion to them but this is only noticed after searching for the complaint others have had about the tone because, frankly, I can't see (or hear) what they're complaining about. Buy with confidence, enjoy the extra volume and get out on the road and beep at all the dumb slow drivers in your way! Installation easy when replacing similar horns on a European car and if you're driving anything else, sell it and buy an Italian or German car! You're welcome...

Great horns however does not come with wiring relay or any other components. Horns only.

My motorcycle already had dual tone fiamm horns, but one of them developed a short resulting in several blown fuses. After much research I settled on these and it was the right choice. They have a nice deep tone and they are loud! I had to take a lot of Tupperware off the bike to get access to where the horns are mounted, so the install took some time. Once mounted, and before buttoning up the bike I tested it a few times.. The wife comes out the house confused asking: “Is that you? That sounds like a truck!” Yes dear, that was the idea! My son came home shortly thereafter and wanted to hear the new horns and while he watched me press the button he still jumped. Bottom line, these are real horns!

I have had Hella Sharp Tones on my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek and noticed they have been sounding awful the past year! I decided to get these to replace them and I I was shocked on how loud these were! Installation was easy as I installed these where I had my Hella Sharptones and used the existing wires. Price for these were much cheaper than the Hella Sharptones and well worth it!

I stopped by my local junk yard to pick up some new horns for my old truck. The young gentleman behind the counter suggested I look up Hella horns instead. I took his advice and was glad that I did. The horns are nice and loud, more like my Lexus, and they are new, not used from the yard! I gave them 4 stars cause the installation instructions are a bit vague. I know, how hard can it be with 1 wire? But that is the issue. They require a ground wire! Mine had 2 terminals each, one marked I think 19 and one 22. I thought it was referring to the width of the connector. I don't think that was the case. I don't think it matters which terminal you select as the hot one, I would just use the same terminal for both horns. Make a little wiring harness to run the other terminal to ground. This could be the mounting bracket screw depending on your application or some other ground.

They're so very quiet because they do not work at all. My old horns that I'm replacing do function. This in turn tells me that it is not an issue with my electrical system in my car, yet solely indicative of a defective product sent to me.
