I have been using this product on my German Shepherd whose about two years old and have also used it on my shih tzu and lhasa apso & it has pretty much worked well on all of them. It smells very rich, subtle and lasts long for about 2-3 days (depends on a lot of factors) on smaller dogs and 1-2 days on medium sized pooches like gsds. It hasn't caused any rash and is very skin friendly, there are other fragrances available and after using this particular one, I'm sure that I am going to give the other ones a try too. Go give it a try for your lil babies.

I like this a lot more than their Honeysuckle version. The smell is soft, a bit sandalwoody, and not too overpowering. I’m a bit sensitive to low quality perfumes and this does not trigger a headache for me. The scent lasts well, too. Day four, and while it’s faded a bit, she still smells nice, even though I haven’t used it again yet. It makes my dog’s fur feel soft without making it feel greasy, sticky, or coated with buildup like some leave on products do. She doesn’t have skin issues, besides the usual “corn chip feet” thing, so I have no idea how well it helps with dry flaky skin or anything like that. A little bit goes a long way for short coats, too. So one bottle will last a while, meaning this is a good amount for the price. Double coats will need more, but the mist is super fine so it has good coverage, especially if you rake it through with your fingers or use a brush to comb it through. The pump works as expected. Easy to use. Unless your dog is upset by the sound of spray bottles like mine. Lol. I have to spritz it into my hand first to apply it anywhere near her neck and shoulders. One note: If you spend any amount of time outside with your dog and live someplace with a lot of bees, wasps, mosquitoes, or any other insects that are attracted to floral/fruit scents, get this one, not the Honeysuckle one! The yellow jackets LOVED my dog after using the Honeysuckle spray and the silly girl got stung three times trying to eat them! Puffed up, had to call the Emergency vet and give her Benadryl. Best to avoid that. This Dog of the Woods scent doesn’t draw the bugs.

Small bottle (I have a BIG dog, 130 pounds and tall), but so far it's helping with the dandruff and itching. I'll check to see it there's another size. I spray and brush it in, he's got short hair. He's a big brindle Mountain Cur.

Nice smell to freshen up between shampoos.
