The quality is great but as a beginner- intermediate artist it is too difficult for me. The level of detail is very intricate and would be suited to people interested in scientific illustration.

Great book if you like dabbling in watercolour. Small pictures for a quick hit of painting.

Cute book

I didn't really find this book as wonderful as I had hoped. I have quite a few books on nature painting, botanical illustration, and rendering common wildlife. This wasn't my favorite, but I found it useful in parts. I would, however, highly recommend another title by this same pair—Botanical Illustration Course with the Eden Project—which is a great tool for understanding technique and interpretation.

Excellent book, lots of ideas to improve painting and drawing skills
