Review: Great Product. Great Price. - Happy to report that all of the frogs in the aquariums in my home really seem to like these pellets.
Review: Awesome for starting ponds - I dug a pond earlier this year. I treated the water against mosquitoes & algae, but I wondered how I would get frogs and reptiles to move into a place where there was no algae or mosquito larvae to eat. This stuff is the answer! Whenever I saw a frog visiting my pond, I'd sprinkle some of this food into it. Well, I think some wild frogs have to be entrained in order to recognize this as food, but others will gobble it up right away. I kept adding a little now and then, and now my pond has its first permanent residents. Very nice! UPDATE: I've had tadpoles in my pond for about a month. They never go for the food when I sprinkle it - but, they must be eating it because it always disappears in a couple days. I guess not many wild frogs will clamber to the water surface to eat these, unless they are raised or trained on it. They don't come up and wait for it like a fish would. But it's still great stuff and helps me support the critters :)

## Questions & Answers

**Q: So fish don't eat this, do you need to use a turkey baster to put this right in front of the frog? Or is that only for blackworms/bloodworms?**
A: I will tell you exactly what I do. I have three frogs, and four mollies (fish). I have small rocks on the bottom and I make a small space about the size of a pancake where there are no rocks at all and I take a pinch of the frog pellets and place them in the middle. Its really easy for the frogs to find and easy for them to eat because there are no rocks around. After I place the food for them, I then feed the mollies to distract them and prevent them from eating the frog food. I guarantee it.

**Q: How often and how many do you feed 1 frog?**
A: We have 1 African Water Frog that was adopted THREE YEARS AGO! as a free tadpole from a first-grade science experiment. That "free" tadpole has already cost me over $100. First for the small tank when it outgrew the mason jar. Then for the 3-gallon tank with filter and light and pretty princess decorations. Then we found out Diva was actually a Divo when it started singing. Now in the evenings at our house, shortly after the commotion of dinner is done, we hear the frog singing and it sounds nice. Then my wife reminds me that these things can live longer than 15 years! About 1/8-1/4 tsp once per day in the evenings.

**Q: Does this get mushy and cloud up the tank? i had that problem with reptomin floating food sticks. i don't want the same problem. thanks.**
A: It does not cloud up the tank much. It does get mushy if food is left in the water, but it mostly stays as pellets. I fed my tadpoles too much, the leftovers got moldy and killed almost all of my tadpoles. I don't think it's necessarily the food's fault, but you should be careful, don't feed them too much.

**Q: Can african dwarf frogs eat minnows?**
A: Idk I think my tadpoles/young frogs ate some of the other tadpoles in the tank… The mature one is only half an inch of tiny green cuteness. I’ve been told frogs will eat anything.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My best frog food so far.

My ADFs love this food. For tadpoles, I grind some pellets in a mortar and feed them. They immediately come to the food and grow nicely.
