I tried other chaga powders and this is by far the best. The flavor is much fuller - and I love adding it to my morning coffee for a rich experience.

I received my product and enjoy a scoop in my coffee every morning!

I ordered the small package since reviewers either loved the taste or hated it. I appreciate its health benefits, but also ordered so I could have a hot drink that tasted like coffee. And this does. The taste is bitter plain, but I added half a cup of almond milk to a cup of the Chaga powder in hot water, and it was delicious. It did taste remarkably like coffee, and has the same feel to it in terms of consistency. I love coffee, but it doesn't love me, so this extract perfect for me. That's it's so healthful is an added bonus. I didn't use sweetener at all. Now I'm going to research to see if there's an upper limit to how much I can have per day! I already want another this morning.

I don't know if I got a 1/2 full container, or if that's just the way they come. After awhile (like several cups), I found the tiny scoop in the container. Basically, you just use 1/4 tsp to a coffee cup size of hot water. Taste: Very acceptable, easy to learn to like. It doesn't even need any sort of creamer: 1/2&1/2, Almond or Coconut milk, etc. I'm not sure if it has any positive effects on me. Downside: I went online and found that if you have a history of kidney stones (which I do, and have a few in there right now), this can cause more of them. Bummer. I threw it out. So, when you go to order something herbal like this, do a little research before dropping it into the shopping cart. I absolutely do not want to give birth to another kidney stone.

This gives energy. It comes in what seems like a tiny package but a little goes a long way. I take it everyday and it has brought my low levels of energy back up. Thyroid issues are definitely being addressed by this powder. And it doesn't feel temporary. I originally bought it to be a quick relief of my fatigue while I do long term nutritional healing and it has worked fantastic for that. It makes the whole healing experience much easier as the signs of good health return! Now I can have a full day of work, go to a pickup soccer game, then go out dancing for 4 hours. Especially good in combination with a smoothie and I also use it to combat the effects of my detox protocol.

After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned that the powder wouldn't mix well, and that it would taste bad. Not so! Here's what I do, and it tastes great! I put 1/2 tsp. of Chaga powder in the cup first, then slowly add one Cup boiling hot water, while stirring continuously. The powder dissolves instantly. Then I sprinkle in some organic cinnamon and cardamom, and stir in 1/2 tsp. coconut oil (raw, virgin, cold pressed). Add whatever else you like. A tip: I drink this and all teas and dark beverages through glass straws( purchased on Amazon), to keep teeth stain-free. I'll add to this report down the road on health benefits I'm sure I'll be experiencing.

So earthy and energising

I bought chaga due to its antioxidant and immunity boosting properties. I also read that it had an earthy taste which some people liked to substitute for coffee. Having been a black coffee drinker for 18 years and just recently quit altogether, I didn't think it would even come close to satisfying that habit of mine. I'm really pleasantly surprised at how mild and good (in an earthy way) it tastes. Of course its no espresso (nothing can be exactly like something else, fake meat doesn't taste like real steak either) it really gives me the same warm pleasure drinking it, without the drawbacks of caffeine. I do believe it's helped me healthwise as well, I'm having milder headaches and feel better overall.

Gegen die geschmackliche und gesundheitliche Qualität dieses Chaga-Extrakts ist absolut nichts einzuwenden. Das Pulver ist sehr fein und sehr intensiv. Schon eine geringe Menge davon (ein Messlöffel aus Plastik liegt bei, ich selbst verwende aber meist weniger und dafür lieber einen Eierlöffel aus Porzellan) ergibt einen schwarzen, also farblich völlig überzeugenden, und auch geschmacklich sehr angenehmen Tee. Ich gebe noch etwas naturbelassenen Honig hinzu, und das ist morgens und manchmal auch abends noch ein wunderbares Getränk. Wichtig: Bei Vimergy, also der Firma, die auch Anthony William bei allem bevorzugt, muss man sich überhaupt keine Sorgen um eine problematische Herstellung oder fragwürdige Zusätze machen. Das unterscheidet diesen Extrakt von allen anderen, die ich im Laufe der Jahre schon ausprobiert habe. Und ich schmecke das auch: Es ist der mit einigem Abstand beste Chaga-Extrakt weit und breit. Und alles andere hätte mich von dieser Firma und nicht zuletzt für diesen Preis auch gewundert. Ziemlich irritiert war ich jedoch vom Handling und von dem Inhalt des aufgeklebten Beipackzettels. Eine Plastikdose als Verpackung ist an sich schon grenzwertig, finde ich. Aber hier ist ja auch so, dass das Pulver dermaßen fein ist, dass es schon beim ersten Öffnen ein wenig durch die Gegend staubt und besonders an dem Plastik ziemlich haftet. Und der mitgelieferte Messlöffel ist nicht nur in dem Pulver tief vergraben, sondern das Pulver haftet auch an ihm sehr stark. Für mich keine gute Lösung. Ich habe es so gemacht, dass ich die mit ihm abgemessene Menge einmal auf einen Eierlöffel aus Porzellan gegeben habe, um zu sehen, wie viel das ausmacht, und seitdem nur diesen Löffel verwende. Mit dem kann man ja dann auch umrühren, eventuell den Honig hinzufügen usw. Aber fast einen kleinen Schock habe ich bei der Lektüre des Beipackzettels bekommen. Denn dort steht u.a. Folgendes (und als einziges auch fett gedruckt): "Nach dem Öffnen im Kühlschrank aufbewahren und innerhalb von zwei Monaten verbrauchen." Soll das ganz ernst gemeint sein? 250 Gramm Chaga-Extrakt für fast 100 Euro, die man in zwei Monaten schon verbraucht haben soll? Das ist kein gutes Geschäft, würde ich sagen. Ich hatte jedenfalls eindeutig auf eine längere Versorgung gehofft - und werde das nun auch so halten. Denn ich glaube (und hoffe), dass Vimergy das im Grunde nur aus versicherungstechnischen Gründen so schreibt. Ich kann mir in der Tat nicht vorstellen, dass dieses Pulver innerhalb von zwei Monaten schon schlecht werden soll. Das habe ich jedenfalls noch bei keinem anderen Chaga-Extrakt so gelesen oder erlebt. Und ich bin mir auch nicht sicher, ob der Kühlschrank für die Lagerung wirklich die beste Idee ist. Denn erfahrungsgemäß ist es doch so, dass da beim Öffnen der kalten Büchse Luftfeuchtigkeit angezogen wird und dann zu einem Kondenswasser in der Verpackung führen kann. Und genau das kann recht bald auch Schimmel bedeuten. Dass man die Büchse nicht warm lagern soll, ist schon klar, ich halte sie bisher an einem kühleren Ort in der Wohnung (unter 20° ist ratsam), aber nicht im Kühlschrank, weil ich es gerade da riskant finde. Und wenn schon im Kühlschrank, dann vielleicht am besten im Gemüsefach. - Diese kritischen Punkte sollen niemandem den Genuss dieses sonst ja wirklich tollen und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswerten Chaga-Produkts verleiden. Aber es ist sicher besser, es vorab auch schon zu wissen.

Parfait

Ich verwende Chaga-Tee von Vimergy schon länger und habe diverse andere Chaga-Tee Sorten aus dem Reformhaus ausprobiert. Dieser ist der Gewinner. Ich kann es auch für Leute empfehlen, die sich von koffein und Teein haltigen Getränken fernhalten wollen. Nach ein wenig abkühlen im trinkfertigem Zustand noch einen Löffel Honig in die Tasse rundet den Geschmack perfekt ab.
