Just right amount of extras
I can’t say enough good things about this bidet. It has front wash, back wash, and an off setting, plus a heated seat and several levels of warm water to choose from. You can also use regular (non-heated) water or turn on the self-cleaning mode. Everything works exactly as described. I had bladder surgery and later developed a UTI from a catheter, and this bidet was a lifesaver. The warm water made it so much easier to stay clean and gave real relief from the pain. I also developed hemorrhoids, and the gentle warm spray helped soothe the soreness more than I ever expected. The quality is excellent, and installing it was incredibly easy. I’m 70 years old and had it attached in about five minutes. As long as you have an outlet nearby, you’re set—mine was next to the sink, so plugging it in was simple. The toilet lid can come off if needed, and there’s a button that lets you slide the seat on and off for extra cleaning. My husband loves it too—when you lift the lid, it actually stays up! We have an older bidet that doesn’t do that, so this was a big bonus. Overall, it’s very well made, user-friendly, and worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

Skip the Gimmicks—This Is the Toto Bidet I Recommend to Everyone
If you’re debating which bidet to buy, here’s my honest take after owning bidets in every bathroom of our house and trying multiple brands including Brondell and Korean-made models: Toto is simply on another level. Other brands love to stack on bells and whistles, fancy remotes, apps, and features that sound good on paper but feel cheap, unreliable, or annoying over time. Toto focuses on what actually matters—build quality, reliability, and consistency—and it shows. The TOTO WASHLET A2 is the version I recommend most people get. No remote control, no gimmicks. That’s actually a plus. Remotes sound nice until you’re constantly replacing batteries, dealing with lag, or resetting the unit because it didn’t register a command. The side panel controls on the A2 just work, every time. The spray quality is excellent—smooth, precise, and gentle but effective. The seat is comfortable, well-shaped, and doesn’t feel flimsy like many competitors. Everything about it feels thoughtfully engineered rather than cheaply assembled. Things people should know before buying: • This model uses a tank-style water heater, not instant heating. That means you get warm water at first, but after a longer wash, the water temperature will gradually cool once the tank runs out. • Toto’s instant hot water system exists, but it’s on higher-end (and much more expensive) models. • Installation is straightforward if you already have a nearby outlet. • The seat is slimmer and more toilet-like than bulky bidets from other brands. • Toto’s reliability and longevity are where the value really is—you’re paying for something that lasts. Pros: • Excellent build quality and durability • Superior spray comfort and consistency • No remote = fewer failures and zero battery issues • Simple, reliable controls that always work • Slim, clean design that looks like a normal toilet seat • Far better long-term experience than most competitors Cons: • Warm water is not unlimited (tank-based heating) • No instant heater unless you upgrade to a pricier model • Higher upfront cost than budget bidets (but worth it) Bottom line: If you want something that actually works every day and doesn’t feel like disposable electronics, buy this Toto. I’d take this over feature-packed bidets that fail after a year any day. Even with the warm-water limitation, this is still the best balance of quality, simplicity, and reliability.

Brings the Japan bathroom experience home
After traveling to Japan and experiencing their bidets, we knew we had to bring that same comfort back home — and this Toto washlet doesn't disappoint. Installation was surprisingly easy and it fit our Toto toilet bowl perfectly. We have 2, so we bought 2. The controls are straightforward, the warm water spray feels great, and it makes everyday use so much more comfortable and hygienic. It’s one of those upgrades you don’t realize you need until you try it. The build quality feels solid, and it blends right in with the bathroom instead of looking bulky. Not to mention, its saved us a lot of money from toilet papers and clogged toilets! If you’ve ever wanted the same experience you get in Japan hotels or homes, this is about as close as it gets. A simple luxury that quickly feels essential.

Good, basic unit, easy install
This bidet seat was within my budget and had the features that were important to me-namely warm water, adjustable water pressure, and a heated seat. I do not have an elongated toilet but this seat fit fine and doesn't look too odd. Took away one star because it seems like the wand doesn't extend far enough to hit the critical areas even when I'm sitting all the way to the back of the seat. Every time I have to use the adjustment button to extend the wand out further. Just seems like it could have been designed better. Tank size is adequate and I never run out of warm water when using. Super easy installation. This may be borderline TMI, but I add in case it will benefit others: I sometime have issues with an itchy bum and using this bidet has helped tremendously, especially before bed. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Love it - best washlet!
Love it. Toto is the king of washlet. First the packing is very sturdy - using thick cardboard to product the washlet; Second it comes with all the parts that you need to install the washlet. No need to buy any items. Installation is extremely easy. Forth the design is elegant yet extremely functional with proper options including water pressure, temperature, and energy saving mode. Love it! Love it!

Simple and Works Well
This is a basic washlet unit that works well without many bells and whistles in other higher-end models. It is simple to operate and does everything I want to accomplish. The installation was fairly easy. I have another fancier unit that operates with a remote control, which runs out of batteries all the time. If I have to buy another one in the future, I would get the basic unit without the remote control again. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Life changing
Japan, bar none, has the best toilets in the world and I saw Toto bidet toilets everywhere during a month in Japan. After I returned to the U.S. I felt rather uncivilized. I do not have a separate wet room just for bathing where there's a drain in the floor and I can wash down and scrub everything, including the walls, with the shower hose. And the toilet wasn't a separate room where I had designated slippers only to be used there. This was a lot cheaper than remodeling my bathroom. It was easy to install, affordable and works almost as well as the ones I used in Japan although this is just the lid rather than the entire set up. You can set the water pressure, temp and adjust the angle of the spray. And because it's Toto, a Japanese company that has been making electronic Washlets since 1980. The Washlet is well designed to be easy to clean and to be sanitary. The water wand retracts fully. The only thing missing from the Washlets I experienced in Japan was the music for privacy. And I will no longer fear the next toilet paper shortage. The cost of converting my bathroom to a

Amazing bidet seat
I got this prior to surgery and I love it!! My husband who is not great at fixing things easily put it together. We had to buy extension cord to reach out let. But it has a self water and seat warmer which are amazing. I don't know how we lived with out one. Feeling like the rich and famous.
