**Q: Need heat at night for budgie sleep area and in darkness. Question is can this product keep them warm with light on very very dim in outdoor aviary.**
A: When you dim the light the temperature of the lamp lowers too. The warmer the temperature the brighter the light. Hope that makes sense

A: It's not a uv light just a heat light we used it on our baby chick's

**Q: Can you have the light off but still have the heating on?**
A: No but as you lower the heat the light dims

**Q: Is this suitable to use for beared dragon**
A: I don't see why not especially as its advertised for a tortoise. I personally used it for ducklings and was very pleased with it.

Great at first, a few heat settings when you dim the light. Settings for 2, 4 or 8 hours run time or leave it on constant. Came already assembled.The bulb lasted less than 5 days. Don't know what caused it to blow so quickly. I don't have a spare bulb to check if it was an electrical problem or just a poor quality bulb.Should have read the reviews on this one first.UPDATEBrought some new bulbs. All blown and one burnt out and melted my tank.
