## Description

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has numerous applications. I read about this product in Popular Science Magazine, and thought it might help with my problem of sticking saxophone keys. After propping the keys open and letting them completely dry, I brushed a light coating of this powder onto the pads. Bingo! I've played several gigs since with nary a sticking key. I told my instrument repairman about it and gave him a sample. Being completely inert, the powder won't blend with moisture to form something gooey, so the pads stay clean but moisture resistant.
