Is this a united states company? are the ingredients all raised in the usa, or are some of the ingredients from other countries>

Hi, thanks for the question! We are based  out of Natick, MA and produced in a Human Food Facility in Thailand.

Thailand is a world leader in producing foods for people around the globe, and much of the world's tuna fish supply for people comes from Thailand (Thailand is also a top chicken producer for people). As exports are the driving force behind the Thai economy, there are strict governmental regulations in place to ensure the safe handling of food for people and pets. In addition, the processing standards from both the supply and production side must meet strict international standards. 
 
The process entails quality control standards that include keeping the factory in a condition where it can pass multiple annual inspections performed by international entities and third party auditors, each under strict scrutiny. Such inspections ensure that we abide by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) systems, meeting the demands of the global market. Perhaps the strictest human processing standard is called the British Retail Consortium (BRC). A grade of "A" on the BRC standard is regularly earned.

As far as sourcing, please see below:

Chicken - The chickens we use are raised in a cage free, climate controlled environment. The raising of chickens is indoors, and this allows for greater control over the diet, and as the chickens are not exposed to the elements on a regular basis, it is easier to monitor their health and wellbeing. The chickens we source are part of an Animal Welfare Standard that sets forth ethical treatment guidelines that helps protect livestock and cattle at the farm, during transport and at the time of processing. The diet of the chickens is non-GMO.

Beef Lamb - They are raised in Australia and New Zealand and are grass fed. The regulations in these countries are strict as it pertains to the humane treatment of the animals.

Fish - All fish, with the exception of tilapia and basa, are wild caught in the ocean. As for the fish, it is purchased direct from the fishing companies, and along with the catch, there are certifications from the ships' captains that the catches are dolphin and turtle safe. There is an entity called Earth Island Institute that looks to protect the environment and maintain fishing sustainability, and Earth Island Institute recognizes the practices of our manufacturing facility.

Is this ok for kittens?

I had weaned and domesticated a LOT of feral kittens, as well as kittens born to domesticated felines. While you want to give them formula then move on to a kitten food, so they get the extra nutrients needed to continue optimal development (just like human babies), the soup battle of the Weruva packets are good for kittens having difficulty switching to a regular diet plus water. You could even dilute it with some bottled water for those that don't exactly know what to do with a bowl of liquid. Especially for blind kittens as the aroma Will help them find it. Buy depending on the age/size of the kitty, you may want to remove or chop up the meat chunks.
