It looks and smells great at first glance, no gnats, bugs, or fungus issues! I love that the bag is resealable and easy to store. Mix is well draining, and light. I repotted my monstera, splash hypoestes and one other smaller plant, AND I still had over quarter of soil mix left. will update in a couple weeks on plant conditions.

my houseplants thrive with this mix, which is why this is the 2nd time i've bought this.

As some reviews said, this mix holds on to way too much moisture and stays very wet (yes all my pots have drainage holes). I repotted several plants using this mix and they all got waterlogged and started dying. I quickly repotted again by mixing in 50:50 some orchid bark mix from the same seller. The larger plants are slowly recovering but I lost two of my smaller plants to drowning. On the plus side, I have not experienced mold or fungus gnats so the mix is clean.

I have never had a green thumb, but this really made my plants flourish. Used it on two plants I received for Valentines and they both gorgeous!

The media could not be loaded. I’m still fairly a beginner in caring for plants. After some research, I knew I needed a well draining soil for my houseplants.I mixed 2 quarts of the House & Tropical with 2 quarts All Purpose Orchid and it was the perfect mix for what I was going for. Both parts seem like great quality and packaged well.I was able to repot all of my plants (2-6in hoyas, 1- 3in philodendron) with 2 more quarts to store for later use.
