I am so pleased and impressed with these excellent binoculars. Excellent clarity and range for this compact item. Well packed and delivered promptly.

I have the 8x25 version of these binoculars. They come with a hard carry case and strap. They are extraordinarily light and portable. I have fairly large hands and these fit very comfortably into my right hand with my index finger falling naturally on to the large focusing wheel. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design for ease of handling and usability. I have been using binoculars for birdwatching for twenty years or more and have used a range of makes, including Swarovski and other high price brands. The brightness and sharpness of image in these little Zeiss binoculars is very impressive, especially given that the lens diameter is just 25mm. They are very good value for the price I paid and with their excellent portability I can carry them with me pretty much everywhere and I anticipate getting a lot of use from them (even though I have some larger binoculars and telescopes etc. for more focussed nature watching expeditions!))

Perfect plant in great condition

The optics are sensational and this is such a compact and lightweight binocular. The box included a carry case and a lanyard which is not specified in the description (as a result I purchased a carry case separately which I am now returning). They're so good we're buying a second pair! We are using them mainly for bird watching on the coastline where birds are on the ground mostly. If you especially want binoculars for birds in flight the 8x25 might be better. These are really compact and lightweight. Finally other reviews claim that the binoculars do not fit in the case with the lanyard. If you wrap the lanyard around the centre stem of the binoculars they fit perfectly.

Bought to watch the cricket at the Oval. My Swarovski binoculars were too heavy and valuable. These are fantastically clear. I wear contact lenses usually but find I can also get them into infinity focus with or without my spectacles on even though I am very shortsighted I like the little rigid lightweight case too, it's handy for other items like sunglasses or reading glasses when using the binoculars. It's nice that they are waterproof too. Oh, and the delivery was very quick and efficient!

Quality

Having read various reviews I expected good performance but was amazed by just how good they are. Sure Swarovskis are better but still in the same ballpark and I was comparing 8x36's to a pair of 8x25's. Pretty good in poor light as well and small enough to just stuff in a pocket. Another huge advantage is I can afford to lose or damage them or just chuck them on the back seat of the car. Not something I'm happy doing with £1500 pound kit.

The quality of the lenses is very high, I was surprised by the clear crisp images. The only problem is that the build is not sturdy and meaning knocks will put the bins out of sync. The first set I received were out of sync within 2 months so I sent them to Zeiss for repair, I had to foot the bill of the postage to their offices in Germany. Again now 5 months later and with little usage, the bins are out of sync again. This time I will not bother sending them back and just write it off as a bad purchase.

La qualité d’optique est remarquable à ce niveau de prix avec une très bonne luminosité même au soleil couchant. La prise en mains est immédiate et les bonnettes se déploient et se replient instantanément. La mise au point est très précise grâce à une molette centrale très sensible. Le faible encombrement permet une mise en poche facile si l’on ne souhaite pas utiliser la dragonne fournie. Les jumelles sont livrées dans une coque plastique transportable. Pour avoir essayé le modèle 10x25 à titre de comparaison, les 8x25 sont beaucoup plus stables lors des observations. Je recommande ces jumelles sans hésitation.

We have long wanted a pair of Zeiss binoculars but the price kept us at bay. I found these orange ones at a discounted price. I don't care what color my binoculars are so I bought them. My wife and I both have relatively narrow faces and it is not easy to find a pair of binoculars that adjust to our face without creating a black overlap in our field of view. These do not do that. And, not surprisingly, the optics are great.

Sehr handlich. Passt in eine Hosentasche. Man kann es überall mitnehmen. 8 fache Vergrößerung ist ideal. Größeres Sehfeld, und in der Dämmerung sieht man besser als bei 10 facher. Zeiss Optik, etwas teurer, aber das Geld wert. Als Vogel und Naturliebhaber seither, immer dabei. Zwei Jahre Garantie für dieses Glas ist mir unverständlich. Trotzdem 5 Sterne 🌟

Bought those binoculars for 330€, which is on the upper price level for pocket binoculars. I use it for observations during hiking. Pros: They show a crisp and sharp image over most field of view. They even perform well under low light conditions. Lightweight and compact, they seem like the perfect binoculars for traveling/hiking. Magnification of 8x seems like the best compromise between having a high magnification and still being able to enjoy a jitter-free view, when used without tripod. Only con I've found so far: There are no lids delivered for covering the lenses during transport or while wearing with the strap. Instead there is a case delivered for the binoculars, which makes carrying them more bulky and you cannot use the strap to wear them on your neck as long as they are in the case.

Wow, great optics and field of view for compact lightweight binoculars. Expensive but worth it. We tested them against my husband's similar but older excellent Nikons 8x25, and we were very impressed. Took them sea kayaking (why i bought this model 8x25 power) and worked perfectly. Definitely waterproof as we had two days of rain! My only complaint is the eye cups. For me, I am used to the Nikons with a softer rubber eye cup, more comfortable. I solved that by adding a ring of neoprene around the cups. (simple hand sewn solution from an old lunch bag). I made a few extras if they slip off. Not a deal breaker, just what I am used to. Also tried the with my eyeglasses and worked nicely, but for kayaking, I easily configured them for my eyes wearing contacts, with the left and right eye set up.
