Much better quality than hardware store version. Used it on a lid for a entrance bench.

These were purchased to build benches in my foyer. BIG benches, that are used for storage of boots, deicing salt, the vacuum cleaner, etc. In place for about 18 months now, their heavy-duty weight are holding up to my husband and grandkids' use and abuse. This hinge worked perfectly on two toy storage boxes that were made for a customer of ours. Also used two Sugatsune Lid stays 105 degree with soft close on each, total 4. So the children won't get hurt with lid slamming. Both worked perfectly together.

I also used this hinge to repair my folding window on my golf cart. It was very easy to install, but you will have better luck if you stagger the screw holes. If you don't stagger them your window might not fit properly into the rubber receptacle. I purchased the screw and lock washer nut at Ace Hardware. You can do the project in less than an hour.
