Liked the quality and results and in the long term it saves money as you don't have to use as much. My only dislike was the plunger falling out.

Based on my research on the internet, I've come to realization what I bought here is probably not real Amtech flux. Folks who make their living using Amtech flux daily (Louis Rossman and Northridge Fix) should know what the genuine article is, and this isn't it according to them. That said, this stuff works ok. It helps create nice solder joints and doesn't smell. It does leave a sticky residue in the nooks and crannies after cleaning with alcohol. It's not noticeable until you look at your work under magnification and see it collecting lint and dust.

I bought this and was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a free sample tube, which I used right away with no problem. But when I used the larger tube, the plunger would not really fit in the tube, it seemed like it is slightly too large. I tried pushing harder but that ended up making a mess and wasting product. I love the stuff inside the tube, but the tube itself is rubbish and makes the product almost unusable. I have already ordered more, I hope the next tube is better.

You get what you pay for. Soldering is hard enough as it is. Use this and give yourself a break.
