Great clarity and solidly built
I bought these binoculars on sale for $399 after I purchased the Celestron – Outland X 10x42 for $94.95. My budget was originally $300 but after I saw the difference myself in both clarity and in build, I decided to return the Celestron since the Zeiss binoculars are in a totally different class of quality. I use these binoculars for travel and they are a little heavy, but I appreciate the extra durability that the build offers.

Great for price, but not heirloom quality
These are very nice binoculars for travel, hunting and some birding.Ergonomics: very easy to use, i like the lens cap system (but some won’t as it has potential to get in your way—can be removed and re-attached quickly). Easy to adjust lens, and really nice, easy to adjust eye cups.Case: there is a passable, zippered nylon weave case with minimal rigidity, no padding, no lanyard)Lanyard: attaches with snap-locks, well cushioned, very nice. Unless you prefer a two-loop harness, this will likely serve you well)Lens quality: seem decent, but not comparable to my heirloom quality zeiss 10x49 binos).good to great light collection. Good field of view. Some haloing? Not sure if due to lens quality, limited relief of lens to end of housing, or my 56 year old eyes).Weight-not light, a heavy binocular for this size and price.Overall: design is 4 stars, construction 4 stars, ergonomics a five, weight a 3, lanyard a 5. Not best in class but solid buy for a product built in China.

Delicate precision binoculars delivered in excellent condition
updates on delivery times, delivery to my door in time specified, package not damaged and binoculars in excellent shape. I will order again from Amazon.

Great Pair of Affordable “Zeiss” Binoculars

Top quality. Expensive but no complaints other than price.
Top quality. Didn’t want to spend this much but slightly cheaper ones I wanted were not available. These are awesome. The brightness of the view is surprising. I bought a second pair as a gift and the recipient loves them as well. Would have been nice if info included how to put on straps in a way that also attached the covers. It can be done but took a while to figure out.

Amazed by clarity both distance and close up!!!

Good optics, poorly made
The optics are very clear and sharp for the price, but the make is poor--dropping them on a carpeted floor from roughly 1 ft caused the cheap, thin plastic bridge connecting the two eyepieces to break apart (revealing a hidden 'China' label). Another (minor) complaint is that the Zeiss logo fell off after the first day.
