And are they loose enough to easily get them in?** A: Yes there are pockets on each side/end.......at least on mine they are. While they are fairly secure I don't have any trouble fishing stuff out but they're pretty deep pockets; I use them mostly for pens, gum. Haven't tried them for a water bottle though and expect it might be snug.
