Once i learned how to cast on. - it was easy to set going and create lots of different pieces, still have not mastered the pannel knitting, but that will come with practice.

I was expecting a lot of issues with this little machine after reading all the reviews but I must say it does work a treat. However it is rather loud and clunky. But it’s great for what I need.

When the machine chooses to work it is perfect for what I wanted (making gonk bodies) , sadly it often jams at the same point, as it approaches the black pin, no matter what ply wool I use

This children’s knitting machine turned out to be much better and more versatile than I had expected.My niece is maybe a bit too young at six years of age but even she managed it although with a great deal of help and supervision. The age recommendation is for 8+ and that is sensible and realistic .The toy is quite robust with an easy to work hand-crank operation.Needles, two balls of yarn and instructions are provided. There are also lots of helpful videos on YouTube . With a bit of thought and application we managed to produce a pretty good little hat which was very satisfying.This is a great standby for a wet day indoors and is creative, gfun and educational .The price is reasonable at the current £28.89 as it will interest and occupy most children for a long time.Recommended.

This knitting machine allows even the most incompetent knitter, such as myself, to create knitwear quickly and easily.I find it easy enough to set up with the yarn going below and over each of the pegs and then turning the handle, so it's suitable for people of all ages, although younger kids will need a hand.I've only used it with a single colour of yarn so far for a very basic looking hat, but you can get a lot more creative as you become more comfortable with using the machine.All in all, it's a fun knitting machine to get creative.

Bought for my 8 year old .. along with a 48 pinShe has made many things ranging from little hats for preemi baby's to octopuses even chocolate orange covers. We found many videos on YouTube which was a great help !This machine is much better than a cheaper one I previously bought which didn't even work for 2 daysAgain this machine only worked with double knit for me
