Great taste, good value.
I love these tamales, but the chicken has a little different flavor than the beef variety, less chicken-like. The beef tamales taste like beef. The chicken, not so much like chicken. There are 6 in a 15 oz can, if that makes a difference in meal planning.

These tamales are EXCELLENT. I mean, I grew up living canned tamales. Of course, they do not compare well with homemade. But, for canned products, these have clean ingredients, wayyyy fewer calories than regular canned tamales and taste yummy! I am on my second tray of them. And I do not share! LOL Theybeven fit into my weight loss program!

Tasty treat. Nearly addicted to these. One star removed do to inconsistent packaging. 60% of the time the tamales aren't straight because one is wadded up on the top of can.

I really like these.
This is one of the better microwaveable meals I've had and the price is great for a budget. You get a full meal in each can and each tamale is actually wrapped in a corn husk... or at least something that resembles one. When microwaving all 6 tamales there are no cold spots which normally happens with microwaved food. Sure, it's not the same as a fresh tamale from a restaurant but it's a really good runner up and is my new favorite at home/work lunch.

Canned Tamales, chicken (not readily found), but as is normal with canned products, nothing like real, actual. Also salt level, and number of servings per can (by the manufacturer) are what is to be expected, and as noted by the manufacturer
