Perfect for ice fishing too!
Great for swapping out tiny jigs with cold fingers! I don’t like trying to tie knots in leaders or 2# test line when it’s 10 degrees. A small snap swivel is fine for a bigger lure like a spoon or hali, but I’d rather use one of there for a perch/kokanee jig. Honestly, they’re kind of nice for summer rods too.

Save your money and time buy these.
I have tried 5 different brands of snap hooks with the Mustad being the best so far. I have used the Mustad snap hooks for 7 months now for all kinds of fishing Ice, fly, spinning, they are every bit as good as the Rio's at half the price. The Mustad snap hooks are strong and hold their shape I bought 1,2, and 3 sizes. Mustad snap hooks are going to be my go-to brand from now on,

Stealthy snaps
Love these things. Provides a quick way to change out lures and still be unobtrusive about it. Plan to order a larger size as well.

They work - saves time tying tippet.
They work as advertised. Definitely not for size 20 flies, or for large poppers and streamers - but sure beats tying tippet all day. Super light so I didn't see much issue with it sinking my dry flies. I also didn't lose any flies to the open-ish metal loop (I worried about that). I'd buy again.

They are well made. Makes it easier and quicker to switch. Using a small pliers with them, makes its easier that way.Recommend as they work and well made

Great product .. number in package inconsistent
I love these snap hooks. Only one issue. I ordered 2 packages of 12. There was 12 in one pack and only 3 in the other. .. I ordered 2 packages again. There was 11 in one pack and twelve in the other. .. Granted, not that big of a deal but would like to receive what I ordered. .. 😕

Hard to hold but very sturdy
I bought the smallest size for fly fishing and they work well. Hard to hold on to but they work well. Pulled on them really hard and none failed, very strong little clips.
