Bead instrument
After receiving this item, I now know that there are two types of these. With this one you can use it in more than one way. I like that.

This Instrument Doesn't Shake Like It Should
This is the jingly that does not jingle. It makes a great ratcheting sound when you roll it in your hand or twist your wrist around but the bead chains are a little too tight around the cylinder and they do not move enough to make a nice jingly sound when the instrument is shaken. I am disappointed in it, but I am keeping it because I am hoping maybe over time those strands will loosen a little. We'll see. For the price I expected something good quality that plays well. The build quality seems okay; i think it will last awhile, but the jingle when shaken was my primary reason for wanting the cabasa, and that is exactly what this one does not deliver.
