Because of this she is susceptible to sunburn. She has to wear a flymask year around to protect her from the sun and requires that the flymask extends down to the end of her nose. This creates a situation where the nose of her flymask gets very dirty and has to be changed out regularly. This flymask fit the bill for about six months. However, the constant removal of the nose piece did cause the material around the velcro holding the nose on to tear. This one fits his jaw better, and it has been staying on until I take it off. Good, sturdy Velcro strap. I haven’t taken off the nose piece. I probably never will, as his white nose gets burned easily. It is really on there.
