Love, LOVE LOVE this machine!
I have sewn with Janome machines for about 30 years. As I am now teaching my granddaughters to sew, I wanted them to have a good quality machine to learn on. This machine fits the bill perfectly. It is easy to use, lightweight enough for me to take on quilting retreats. I was so happy to find this machine for such a good price as well. Highly recommend.

Dream machine
I have the mod 200 and it has a huge array of stitches for me to choose from...omg so many. Then there are the letters...which i thought would be super complicated and...it just isnt. You program the letters of the name you want to have the sewing machine make and then put the pedal to the metal and ....boom done. The machine is awesome...durable and quiet. This is the first sewing machine i have purchased and first non crap one i have used...its fantastic!!

Not made to last
I really enjoyed this machine and used it a moderate amount. Just shy of 3 years the motor in the lower deck burnt out and to replace the part will cost just shy of the price of the machine. The 25 year limited warranty does not cover the motor. Needless to say my next machine will not be a Janome.
